Which Training Course is right for me?
The level of training you need depends on your role and the level of contact you have with children and families. All LSCP Training and workforce development activities are targeted at different groups of people dependent on their safeguarding roles and responsibilities.
Please refer to the Training Information Booklet for detail about all training and advice on which staff might attend particular courses. Evaluating Effectiveness and the Impact of Training
The LSCP has a responsibility to ensure that both single and inter-agency learning and improvement opportunities are delivered to a consistently high standard, and that a process exists for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of any learning and improvement activity.
Evaluating the impact and effectiveness of training and other learning and improvement activity is complex and challenging. This process relies on the commitment of participants to engage in the evaluation process and give honest and constructive feedback.
All participants attending LSCP training sessions will be expected to contribute to the evaluation process and may be asked complete evaluation questionnaires before, during and after any training sessions attended.
All attendees email contact details are kept by the LSCP and added to the contact list, held by the training officer securely. You will then receive monthly updates on training and dates from the LSCP Team - should you not wish to be included please let us know via email or speak to the trainer/training officer on the day of the training.
