WTSC - Voice & Lived Experience of the Child
This course is part of the Working Together to Safeguard Children Training (WTSC)
In this session, you will
- Find out about or refresh your knowledge of the obligation on all of those who work with children to seek their views and involve them in decisions made about them.
- Share and discuss some of the barriers in undertaking this work and what we can all do to support one another.
- Consider findings from Practice Learning Reviews, with some real life examples of work where finding the voice of the child/family/community member has made significant differences to outcomes for children.
- Know where to go to or signpost others to further reading and resources to consolidate learning so that you can access resources suitable for the children and young people that you are working with.
Please note this training will be delivered virtually - A Microsoft Teams invitation will be sent to you approximately 2 days before.
The waiting list for each date will not automatically transfer to future dates - new bookings will need to be made per course date.
All cancellations need to be made at least 7 working days prior to the training date. Any late cancellations or DNA's may be charged £50.
