Course aims and Objectives:
• To demonstrate an understanding of the internal processes at play within developmental and relationship trauma.
• To recognise some key behavioural responses to stress and adversity, which can indicate the presence of Development and Relationship Trauma in an individual.
• To be able to highlight and utilise positive communication, nurturing & validation as an effective response to individuals who have experiences Trauma.
• To have insight of how as individuals and agencies we can reinforce victims experience of relationship trauma through working within rigid systems and cultures.
• To become informed in the concept of Trauma and the inextricable relationship and impact for Safeguarding Children & Adults
