Responding to concerns about young people who Self Harm

Aims and Objectives for this half day session

• Understand what is meant by self-harm and explore some the myths and realities associated with this behaviour
• To develop an understanding as to why young people self-harm and the importance of offering early help and support to young people engaging in this behaviour.
• Explore the best ways to respond to someone who is self-harming
• To become familiar with LSCP Practice Guidance and practitioner toolkit

All cancellations need to be made at least 7 working days prior to the training date. Any late cancellations or DNA's may be charged £50.
