LSCP Safeguarding Update for Childminders
NB: This is a bespoke session exclusive for Childminders in Liverpool
This Saturday Morning half day training focuses on the processes, principals and dilemmas of working together effectively to safeguard and promote the welfare of children including those who are suffering, or are at risk of suffering significant harm.
The course aims to develop understanding of the processes supporting the safeguarding of children and young people. To extend knowledge, skills and abilities enabling effective partnership working to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
The session is exclusively for Childminders in Liverpool.
The session aims to;
- Explore what safeguarding children in Liverpool covers and what it looks like in practice
- Provide a deeper understanding of 'Working Together' and 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' guidance
- Look at the Early Help Strategy in Liverpool and what this means in practice
- Provide a deeper understanding of the Liverpool Safeguarding continuum and Levels of Need
- Updates and learning from recent Child Practice Reviews
