DA T2 - Impact of Domestic Abuse 11- 18 years

Preliminary note: If you require an introduction to Domestic Abuse please ensure that you have attended the DA Tier 1 Domestic Abuse Introduction course BEFORE booking for this course.

This HALF DAY session will identify ways in which teenagers are affected by domestic abuse and covers:

• Examine the messages teenagers get about relationships. (From whom? From where? What are the messages?)
• Impact and effects of abuse on teenagers (physically, emotionally, socially, sexually, financially, mentally).
• Social media, technology, and abuse.
• Barriers to speaking out and seeking support.
• Importance of multi-agency working / Liverpool Safeguarding process.

NB: Please note this training will be delivered in person. This venue is an accessible space.

The waiting list for each date will not automatically transfer to future dates - new bookings will need to be made per course date.

All cancellations need to be made at least 7 working days prior to the training date. Any late cancellations or DNA's may be charged £50.
